A strong commitment to the well-being of employees: The DGI strengthens its capacities with a new batch of equipment

As part of a determined effort to strengthen the DGI's capacities and improve the daily lives of its employees, Mr BARNABE MUAKADI, the Director General of Taxes, organised an official handover of major equipment. This symbolic gesture took place on 22 September 2023 at the headquarters of the Directorate General of Taxes, in the presence of a gathering of agents and executives.

At the heart of this initiative, an initial batch of 7 large buses was handed over to facilitate staff transport. In addition, 26 vehicles were allocated, including 22 Land Cruisers and 4 pick-ups, for use by various central government departments and operational services. Lastly, 334 motorbikes have been allocated to the operational departments, deployed throughout the country.

This significant action is fully in line with the vision of the Head of State, His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who aspires to ensure that tax revenues contribute directly to the well-being of the Congolese people. The Director General, in his constant concern to put people at the heart of his programme, has clearly expressed his commitment to achieving ambitious tax revenue collection targets. This demonstrates the tax authority's determination to improve the working conditions of its agents and strengthen their ability to serve the nation effectively. 💼 #DGI #MobilisationFiscale #ServicePublic
