BRENDA NDAYA KANYINDA, a computer engineer and digital marketing specialist, who is currently in charge of studies at the Agence pour le Développement du Numérique (ADN), is in danger, for the simple reason that another woman proposed her for this position, given her skills in digital marketing. Today, Brenda Ndaya Kanyinda is the person to be ejected from the chair, for purely political reasons.
For the record, Brenda Ndaya Kanyinda was a member of Madame Adèle KABENA's AADC (Alliance pour les Actions de Développement du Congo) political party, before joining Stéphanie Mbombo's CRIC (Cercle des Réformateurs Intègres du Congo) party, with the aim of expressing her political ambitions and standing in the December 2023 national parliamentary elections. Ingénieure Brenda Ndaya was thus responding to the call for all women to get involved in managing the "res publica". Unfortunately, Stéphanie Mbombo's CRIC party unilaterally decided not to include BRENDA NDAYA on the list of the FPAU (Forces Politiques Alliées à l'UDPS/Thisekedi) grouping, of which it was a member.
While the future candidate for the national legislative elections was campaigning in the field, in a difficult context, the electoral cell set up by the Regroupement FPAU had her candidacy removed, apparently with the agreement of the President of CRIC, without informing her. This came as a surprise to Brenda Ndaya when she learned of the decision, almost on the last day for filing applications.
So, at the last minute, she resolutely opted to find out which party she wanted to join. She found an open door in the MSR party (Mouvement Social pour le Renouveau), which happily lined her up on the list of the ARDP grouping (Alliance des Démocrates pour le Renouveau et le Progrès), an option that irritated the President of the CRIC party.
This is the reason why the President of the CRIC Party, who had proposed BRENDA NDAYA KANYINDA for the post of service at the Agence pour le Développement du Numérique (Digital Development Agency), continues, by all means, to seek her departure from this Agency; and yet, a post that correctly meets her Profile, and assumes the function of research officer with competence, without reproach.
This is the women's dichotomy: "one woman, the executioner of another woman, while the Head of State, the champion of positive masculinity, is constantly promoting women by appointing women to decision-making bodies".
Asked what the current climate is like at the Agence pour le Développement du Numérique, Brenda Ndaya Kanyinda replies: "The climate is not good. I live and work like a person recommended by another woman in the Political Party, who can be ejected at any time, without cause".
That's why we're sounding this alarm for political and professional life, which is under threat.
